Bayer Thai Co., Ltd. entered a partnership with the National Cancer Institute Foundation and signed an MOU under which the company would support the 'Liver Cancer Prevention' project on May 29, 2009. The project is aimed to build public awareness about the threat of liver cancer to Thai people for the three consecutive years (2009-2011). The project had started with a pilot campaign entitled "Kin Sook Saeb Lai-Than Pai Ma-Reng Tub" including Train the Trainer" sessions for village volunteers and the tie-in in concerts of famous northeastern band-Siang-Esarn in order to help promote the campaign to the local target.
