1962	•	Bayer Thai is established
1982	•	Bayer's chemical plant is established in Bangpoo Industrial Estate for formulating crop protection products
1999	•	First Bayer Polycarbonate Production-Line 1 starts at the site in Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate
2002	•	Polycarbonate Production-Line 2, Compounding Product-Line 1, and Bisphenol A Productions start
	•	Aventis is integrated into Bayer Thai's CropScience business
	•	Environmental Science products are produced at Bangpoo site
2005	•	Roche's OTC business is integrated into Bayer Thai and reformed Consumer Care business
	•	Polycarbonate's production capacity is expanded to 200 kt
2006	•	Production capacities of Polycarbonate and Bisphenol A are expanded to 250 kt and 225 kt respectively
2007	•	Polycarbonate Film plant starts production at Map Ta Phut site
	•	Schering (Bangkok) is integrated into Bayer Thai and set up Bayer Schering Pharma business
