Suphan Buri – In partnership with Donpru Subdistrict, Bayer Thai Co., Ltd. is investing in the future sustainability of society by launching a three-year cooperation project - “Tree Planting at Donpru”. The ceremony was held at Bayer Thai’s Rice Development Center in Suphan Buri to celebrate the Thai Environment Day 2009. Over 300 Bayer employees and locals jointly gave a helping hand in planting 500 saplings along five-kilometer irrigation canal. Starting from 2009 to 2011, “Tree Planting at Donpru” project is aimed to help expand green and natural areas at Donpru Subdistrict and to raise locals’ awareness in environmental protection. Moreover, it was a good opportunity for the company’s employees to show their synergy and commitment to the environmental protection. “As a good corporate member in Donpru community, we are proud of helping improve people’s quality of life with the expansion of green areas and pleasant landscape. I believe that this activity will be a good starting point for further cooperation in valuable initiatives in the future” said Dominikus von Pescatore, Managing Director of Bayer Thai Co., Ltd.
